The Hank Sasser Foundation is proud to announce its Summer 2017 General Leadership Scholarship recipient. This scholarship was established to recognize outstanding individuals who are pursing the development of their leadership skills and education. We aim to help leaders grow and to become better at what they do so that they may positively impact the lives of others. This summer, thanks to help from your generous contributions, we were able to award $2,000 in scholarship award money to one amazing candidate. Sara Miller

Sara Miller
Georgia Institute of Technology

Sara is a senior aerospace engineering major at Georgia Tech. She is fueled by a passion for flight, a deep curiosity about outer space, ambitions to explore the universe, and lots of coffee! Upon graduation, Sara will pursue a graduate degree in electric propulsion and then work as a space power engineer with NASA's Glenn Research Center. Sara continually strives to lead by example and is dedicated to promoting women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and building girls' confidence in science and mathematics.
